| Abstract: | Práce poskytuje ucelený pohled na historii, vývoj a současný stav obchodních vztahů Evropské unie s rozvojovým světem, zastupovaným v tomto případě skupinou afrických, karibských a tichomořských zemí. Práce v prvé řadě podává vysvětlení, proč má EU právě s těmito zeměmi takto úzké vztahy. Dále analyzuje, na základě jakých dohod byly v průběhu let vztahy mezi EU a skupinou zemí ACP založeny a jaké obchodní preference EU těmto zemím v minulosti poskytovala. Práce také zkoumá, proč musely být jednotlivé dohody nahrazovány novými a jaké problémy a těžkosti při jejich vyjednávání vyvstaly. V neposlední řadě práce nastiňuje současný stav obchodních vztahů EU a zemí ACP a vysvětluje, čím jsou současné dohody o volném obchodu zvláštní |

| Abstract: | This thesis surveys the history, development and the present state of trade relations between the European Union and the developing world, represented in this case by the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP). It primarily explains why the EU has such close relations with these countries. The thesis analyzes the types of agreements that fostered current relations between the EU and the ACP over recent years which were, in part, based upon trading options offered during former times. The thesis also seeks to explain why the standing agreements had to be replaced and what problems arose from their respective negotiations. Last but not least, the thesis describes the present state of trade relations between the EU and the ACP States and presents the current free trade agreements and the specifics. |
