| Abstract: | Práce se zaměřuje na stinné stránky amerického zdravotnictví a nastavení vládních programů zabezpečujících zdravotní pojištění starým, chudým a dětem. Prostor je věnován i nově zvolenému prezidentovi Baracku Obamovi a jeho přístupu k tématu. V závěru uvádím komparaci zdravotnictví USA a dalších zemí OECD. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis focuses on the negative aspects of the American health care system and the goverment programs ensuring health insurance coverage for the elderly, poor and children. The president-elect Barack Obama and his attitude towards the issue follows. Finally I enclose the comparison of the health care systems in the United States and the other OECD countries. |
