| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola čtenáře stručně seznamuje s teorií finančních krizí - vymezuje hlavní druhy krizí s jejich základními rysy, možné příčiny krize v širším slova smyslu. Dále je zde shrnut průběh americké krize, její příčiny a možné následky. Třetí kapitola se věnuje situaci ve Velké Británii, vysvětluje termín "credit crunch" a, stejně jako kapitola týkající se USA, popisuje důsledky krize a stav země v současnosti. V závěrečné kapitole je blíže popsán britský trh nemovitostí, efekty ovlivňující jejich cenu a situací před a po krizi. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis is divided into 4 chapters. The theoretical introduction explains the theory of financial crises, their kinds, main features, and their causes in general. The second chapter explains the american subprime mortgage crisis, its causes and consequences. The third chapter is dedicated to Great Britain, explains the term "credit crunch", describes the causes of the crisis and current situation. The fourth chapter is focused on the housing market in Great Britain and its state before and after the crisis. |
