| Abstract: | Země jihovýchodní Asie v posledních letech vykazovaly vysoká tempa růstu HDP. Tento úspěch je přičítán Sdružení národů jihovýchodní Asie (ASEAN). Přes značnou různorodost členských zemí a problémy, ASEAN zaujímá důležitou pozici ve světové ekonomice. ASEAN nyní čelí další zkoušce. Tou je světová finanční krize. Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat vznik a vývoj ASEANu, shrnout ekonomickou spolupráci mezi členy i kooperaci s ostatními státy a nastínit blízkou budoucnost tohoto integračního uskupení. |

| Abstract: | Southeast Asia nations has achieved high growth of GDP recently. This success can be counted to Association of Southeast Nations (ASEAN). Despite the diversity of member states and problems, ASEAN takes a strong position in the world economy. Nevertheless, ASEAN is facing a new challenge. That's global financial crisis. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe establishment and development of ASEAN, to summarize economic cooperation among members and other states and to outline near future of this organization. |
