| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá Hospodářskou a měnovou unií EU. Ke skutečné realizaci HMU došlo až po návrhu vyplývajícího z Delorsovy zprávy. Byla vytvořena ve třech etapách v průběhu 90. let a v každé z nich mělo být dosaženo určitých cílů. Jeden z nejdůležitějších úkolů byla nutnost splnění nominálních konvergenčních kriterií, která umožňovala vstup do eurozóny. Tyto podmínky byly nutné k bezproblémovému fungování měnové unie. Toto téma je v dnešní době o to aktuálnější, že ČR k 1.5.2004 vstoupila do EU a vstoupila tak i do 3. fáze HMU s tím, že společná měna euro bude zavedena až v pozdější době. |

| Abstract: | The object of this essay is focused on the Economic and Monetary Union. The EMU was realised on the basis of Jacques Delors report during the nineties. This report supposed three stages to achieve the specific goals which would lead to the EMU. One of the most important task was the fulfilment of the nominal convergence criteria which allowed the permission to join the euro area. This conditions were and are necessary to smooth monetary union functioning. Nowadays is this theme very actual by reason that the Czech Repulic joined the European Union on 1st May 2004. By this joining the Czech Republic is participating the third stage of the EMU and the euro will be accepted in this country later |
