| Abstract: | Práce je analýzou zahraničně obchodních vztahů Mexika. Člení se do tří kapitol. V první kapitole se věnuje popisu vývoje mexické ekonomiky ve dvacátém století, následuje přehled zahraničně obchodních vztahů země a třetí subkapitola pojednává o přímých zahraničních investicích, které jsou hlavním faktorem růstu mexické ekonomiky. Cílem druhé kapitoly je analyzovat vztahy s nejdůležitějšími partnery Mexika mimo severoamerický kontinent, tedy s EU, ESVO, Mercosurem, ALADI, zeměmi APEC, Chile a Japonskem. Předmětem třetí kapitoly je Severoamerická zóna volného obchodu (NAFTA), pojednává o motivech jednotlivých zemí k uzavření dohody, o způsobu její realizace a vývoji některých makroekonomických ukazatelů v Mexiku od vstupu do NAFTA. Ekonomika Spojených států mexických je značně citlivá na výkyvy na trhu USA. Proto se Mexiko snaží diverzifikovat své zahraničně obchodní vztahy. Cílem práce je zhodnotit tuto diverzifikační strategii na základě analýzy zahraničního obchodu země. |

| Abstract: | The tesis deals with an analisis of external trade of Mexico. It is divided in three chapters. The first chapter contains the description of mexican economy in the twentieth century, overview of foreign trade follows and the third part deals with foreign direct investment. The objective of the second chapter is to analyze relations with the most important commercial partners of the country outside the North American continent, it means EU, EFTA, Mercosur, ALADI, APEC, Chile and Japan. The last chapter is dedicated to NAFTA, motivation of its members to enter it, the implementation of the Agreement and some of the macroeconomic effects on the mexican economy. Mexican economy is quite depending on the american one. That's why the government is trying to diversificate its commercial relations. The objective of my tesis is to evaluate this diversification strategy based on the analisis of mexican external commercial relations. |
