| Abstract: | Hlavní téma práce je zaměřeno na vysvětlení průběhu underwrittingu v pojišťovnictví. Velká pozornost je věnována upisování mezi pojištěním životním a neživotním. Důraz je kladen na odlišení standardizovaných a individualizovaných typů neživotního pojištění. Práce se táké zabývá specifickým průběhem risk managementu v pojišťovně. |

| Abstract: | The primary object of the thesis is focused on explanation of process of underwritting in insurance business. Considerable attention is devoted differences between underwritting in life and non-life insurance. Emphasis is put on differentiation of standardized and individualized type of insurance. The diploma paper is also dealt with specific process of risk management in insurance company. |
