| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce analyzuje strukturu a vývoj trhu pojistitelů. Nejprve se krátce zabývá historií, a to nejen porevoluční doby pojistného trhu dnešní České republiky. Další kapitola je zaměřena na oblast struktury pojistného trhu, zejména po vstupu České republiky do Evropské unie. Mezi podstatné části lze zařadit počet subjektů na trhu, jejich finanční strukturu, majetkovou účast, náklady na pojistná plnění, technické rezervy či solventnost pojišťoven. V návaznosti na to následuje kapitola z oblasti právní úpravy, regulace a dohledu nad pojistným trhem. Poté je analyzován vývoj pojištěnosti a současné trendy na pojistném trhu. Poslední část je věnována vlivu finanční krize na trh pojistitelů. |

| Abstract: | Bachelor thesis analyses structure and development of insurance market. First it shortly focuses on history, and not just post revolution period of Czech insurance market. Next chapter focuses on area of insurance market structure, mostly after joining European Union. Substantial parts include number of subjects in the market, their financial structure, capital participation, costs of insurance benefits, technical reserves and solvency of insurance companies. Following chapter focuses on legislative, regulation and supervision of insurance market. Consequentially there is being analyzed development in insurance penetration and current trends in insurance market. Last chapter is dedicated to influence of financial crisis on insurance market. |
