Práce teoreticky zkoumá vliv hospodářské krize na firmy a potažmo marketing. Srovnává Velkou hospodářskou krizi ze 30. let se soudobou finanční krizí, hledá společné znaky a ptá se, zda je krize pouze zcela negativní jev, nebo na ní může být i něco pozitivního.
