| Abstract: | První kapitola popisuje politický a ekonomický vývoj v Ghaně a jeho vliv na utváření systému formálního vzdělávání, a to od doby prvního pronikání evropských mocností na africký kontinent a počátků kolonialismu až do konce 90. let. Druhá kapitola se věnuje charakteristice současného vzdělávacího systému, především jeho nově reformované struktuře a principu fungování. Třetí kapitola se zabývá dvěma nejzávažnějšími problémy, s nimiž se ghanské školství dodnes potýká, a to dětskou prací a nízkou kvalitou výuky. |

| Abstract: | The first chapter describes the political and economic development in Ghana and its impact on the creation of the formal educational system since the first european invasion on the african continent and the beginnings of colonialism until the end of 1990's. The second chapter analyses current educational system, especially its newly reformed structure and functioning. The third chapter concentrates on the two main problems of the educational system in Ghana, which are child labour and low quality of education. |
