| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je vysvětlení funkce a využití cloud computingu a nabídnout přehled možných řešení v oblasti cloud computingu se zaměřením na vrstvu PaaS. V práci jsou na začátku vysvětleny základní pojmy a principy cloud computingu, opět se zaměřením na Platform-as-a-Service a poté přehled nejvýznamnějších poskytovatelů cloud computingových služeb a vysvětlení, jak tyto služby fungují. V praktické části by se měl čtenář seznámit se základními praktikami při vývoji cloud computingových aplikací a možnostmi, které platformy nabízí. To je ukázáno na Windows Azure platformě a Google AppEngine platformě. Možnosti těchto platforem jsou závěru práce porovnány. |

| Abstract: | Goal of this thesis is to explain functions and usage of cloud computing solution and offer a basic overview in cloud computing, especially PaaS level. In the beginning of this thesis are explained basic terms and principles of cloud computing, focus is also on Platform-as-a-Service level. Then, there is a overview of biggest and most known cloud computing providers and explanation, how providers services go. In practical part of this thesis, reader should be informed about basic practices in cloud computing application development and features of its platform. This is showed on Windows Azure and Google AppEngine platform. Features of these platforms are compared in the end of thesis. |
