| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá obchodními vztahy mezi EU a zeměmi západní Afriky. První část je zaměřena na charakteristiku západoafrického regionu. V další části se práce věnuje preferenčním režimům EU, uplatňovaným ve prospěch zemí západní Afriky. Důraz je kladen také na vývoj vzájemných vztahů Evropské unie se západní Afrikou, jakožto součásti skupiny států Afriky, Karibiku a Pacifiku, po současnost, ovlivněnou uzavíráním dohod o hospodářském partnerství. Práce vymezuje přínosy a rizika plynoucí z přistoupení na tyto dohody. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with trade relations between the EU and the countries of West Africa. The first part focuses on the characteristics of the West African region. The next section deals with the preferential trade arrangements of the EU, applied to countries of West Africa. Emphasis is put on the development of mutual relations of the European Union and West Africa, as part of the African, Caribbean and Pacific, to the present, influenced by the conclusion of economic partnership agreements. The work defines the benefits and risks arising from the accession to such agreements. |
