| Abstract: | Finanční analýza je nástrojem, který umožňuje vyhodnotit a popsat výsledky podniku za určité účetní období. Díky finanční analýze můžeme také predikovat budoucí vývoj společnosti, určit její silné a slabé stránky, hrozby, příležitosti, můžeme testovat, jak se sledované parametry změní při jiných vstupních datech atd. Informace získané z finanční analýzy jsou využívány jak vně firmy (např. bankami, potenciálními investory), tak i uvnitř (managementem, vlastníky atp.). Cílem této bakalářské práce je provést zevrubnou finanční analýzu společnosti Tatra, a.s. za roky 2004-2008 a pokusit se alespoň přibližně odhadnout, jakým směrem se bude podnik ubírat v budoucnu, popřípadě nastínit, jaké změny by měl vrcholový management učinit, aby společnost přežila v dnešní neklidné době a pokračovala tak i nadále ve své činnosti, která se mimochodem datuje až do poloviny 19. století, což Tatru řadí mezi nejstarší automobilky na světě. |

| Abstract: | Financial analysis is a tool by which a company can evaluate and describe its results for a certain accounting period. Due to financial analysis we can predict the future development of a company, and show its strengths and weaknesses, threats, opportunities, and it is also possible to test how input of different data can make in changes monitored parameters. Information collected from financial analysis are used externally (e.g. by banks, by potential investors) and also internally (e.g. by management or by owners). The aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to carry out a detailed financial analysis of Tatra, a.s. company, during 2004--2008 and try to estimate the direction of the company in the future and outline scheme that top management can apply to their work to help the company survive and continue their work in this unstable period. Tatra, a.s. company has been established in mid-19th century, therefore it has been listed as one of the oldest automobile companies in the world. |
