Abstract: | Tématem práce je český trh s akciemi. Práce je zaměřena na aplikaci teorie efektivních trhů, která je jednou z teorií vysvětlujících vývoj kurzů cenných papírů, na akciový trh v České republice v letech 2000 až 2008. Teorii efektivního trhu představuje náhodná procházka, která se používá jako nástroj k popisu jevu, kde budoucí změny cen představují náhodné odchylování od cen minulých. Samotná práce je rozdělena do několika částí. V úvodní části je představen samotný kapitálový trh v České republice. Je nastíněn vývoj a historie burzovního obchodování v ČR od úplných prvopočátků v 19. století až po současnost. Protože se většina práce zabývá analýzou výnosů akciového indexu PX byl tento index v další části detailně popsán a rozebrán. Dále byl český akciový trh podroben analýze z pohledu struktury a objemů obchodů.V další části práce byla popsána samotná teorie efektivních trhů. Stručně byla popsána také historie této teorie. Dále je v práci popis statistických metod používaných k testování efektivnosti trhu. Jde zejména o testy zkoumající nezávislost změn kurzů akcií, a testy testující úspěšnost obchodních a investičních strategií. Další část práce lze označit jako čistě praktickou. Nejdříve se práce zaměřuje na trh v jednotlivých letech období. Jako druhé bylo analyzováno středně-dlouhé období tvořené tříletými časovými řadami výnosů. Posledním analyzovaným obdobím bylo obdoubí dlouhé, tvořené osmiletou časovou řadou výnosů let 2000 až 2008. |

Abstract: | This work focuses on the Czech stock market. Work is focused on the application of the theory of efficient markets, which is one of the theories explaining the evolution of prices of securities, the stock market in the Czech Republic from 2000 to 2008. Efficient market theory represents a random walk, which is used as a tool to describe the phenomenon where the future price changes are random divergence from past prices. The thesis is divided into several parts. The first part presents an actual stock market in the Czech Republic. Because most of the work deals with the analysis yields the PX stock index was that in the next section in detail described and analyzed. Furthermore, the Czech stock market has been analyzed in terms of structure and trading volume. The next section has described the theory of efficient markets. Was described briefly the history of this theory. Another part of this work can be described as a purely practical. First, the work focuses on the market in the one year time series of returns. In second part were analyzed medium-long term consisting of three year time series of returns. The last analyzed period was long term, consisting of eight-year time series of returns from 2000 to 2008. |
