| Abstract: | První kapitola práce je spíše teoretická. Definuje transnacionální korporace, klasifikuje je a popisuje jejich vývoj. Druhá kapitola zobrazuje postavení největších transnacionálních korporací ve světové ekonomice. Zábývá se výzkumem a vývojem prováděným nadnárodními společnostmi a též fenoménem transferových cen. Třetí kapitola se věnuje přímým zahraničním investicím. Definuje důležité pojmy, popisuje současnou situaci na trhu přímých zahraničních investic, zkoumá faktory jejich umístění a také jejich dopady na zúčastněné ekonomiky. |

| Abstract: | The first chapter is theoretical, it defines transnational corporations, classifies them and describes their evolution. The second chapter depicts position of the largest transnational corporations in the world economy. It also focuses on R&D and transfer pricing. The third chapter deals with foreign direct investment. It defines important terms, describes the present situation on the FDI market, examines the determinants of location of FDI and their impacts on engaged economies. |
