| Abstract: | Táto diplomová práca sa zaoberá problematikou zavedenia Business Intelligence vo firme pôsobiacej v oblasti cestovného ruchu a jej previazaním na Balanced Scorecard ako jednu z metodík hodnotenia výkonnosti podnikov. Prvá časť práce sa zameriava na vymedzenie teoretických základov Balanced Scorecard aj Business Intelligence. Charakterizuje metodiku Balanced Scorecard a jej princípy a takisto definuje čo je to Business Intelligence, jeho informačnú architektúru a postup pri jeho nasadení. V praktickej časti je v rámci BSC vytvorený model metrík optimalizovaný pre firmu a je tu popísaný aj postup implementácie vybraných ukazovateľov v pilotnom projekte BI. |

| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou zavedení Business Intelligence ve firmě podnikající v oblasti cestovního ruchu a její provázáním na Balanced Scorecard jako jednu z metodik hodnocení výkonnosti podniků. První část práce se zaměřuje na vymezení teoretických základů Balanced Scorecard i Business Intelligence. Charakterizuje metodiku Balanced Scorecard a její principy a také definuje co je to Business Intelligence, jeho informační architekturu a postup při jeho nasazení. V praktické části je v rámci BSC vytvořen model metrik optimalizovaný pro firmu a je zde popsán i postup zavedení vybraných ukazatelů v pilotním projektu BI. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with the implementation of Business Intelligence solution in a travel industry company and its interconnection to Balanced Scorecard as one of the enterprise performance management tool. First part focuses on pointing out the main theoretical foundations of Balanced Scorecard and Business Intelligence. It describes Balanced Scorecard and its principles and it also defines Business Intelligence, the architecture of BI and the implementation process generally. In the second part the particular metrics model is generated and a few specific metrics from this model are implemented in the Business Intelligence pilot project. |
