| Abstract: | Práce analyzuje vývoj hospodářství Turkmenistánu v období po jeho osamostatnění v roce 1992. Zaměřuje se na popis reforem a změn, jež přinesla turkmenská transformace a krize obchodních vazeb v regionu po rozpadu SSSR. Tento vývoj je pak zasazen do politicko-kulturního rámce budování kultu osobnosti presidenta Saparmurata Nijazova - Turkmenbašiho. Důraz je kladen na zemědělství a energetický sektor - jakožto největší tvůrce HDP a zaměstnanosti v zemi. V závěru práce jsou naznačeny perspektivy nového reformního kurzu, které přichází s nástupem presidenta Berdymuhamedova. |

| Abstract: | The study analyzes the developement of the economy of Turkmenistan during a period of its independence. It focuses on a description of the most important reforms and changes which have been brought by Turkmen transformation and crisis of the regional trade after the fall of USSR. This economical developement is explained together with the political and cultural framework of Nijazov's cult of personality. The main accent is put on agriculture and energy sector - the two most important sectors for GDP and employment. Perspectives of the new reform course formed by Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov are suggested at the end of the paper. |
