| Abstract: | Spolu s rostoucím významem Číny na politické i ekonomické mapě světa se zintenzivňují i její zahraniční aktivity. Velmi diskutovaným tématem posledních let, které vzbouzí vlnu protichůdných reakcí, se stává její působení v Africe. Ačkoli počátky sino-afrických vztahů spadají až do středověku, jejich opravdová spolupráce nabírá na obrátkách teprve v posledním desetiletí. Čína, rostoucí ekonomický obr, se snaží zajistit své surovinové potřeby, najít nová odbytiště pro své výrobky a získat nové stoupence na mezinárodním poli. Naproti tomu, africké státy hledají investory ochotné vložit kapitál do nestabilního prostředí. Obě oblasti si tedy mají vzájemně co nabídnout. Cílem této práce je zaujmout stanovisko, které vyhodnotí charakter a obsah čínské zahraniční politiky v Africe. |

| Abstract: | Together with growing influence of China on the political end economic map of the world, Chinese foreign activities are being intensified. In recent years Chinese engagement in Africa, which raises wave of conflicting opinions, is becoming widely discussed topic. Even though the beginning of Sino-African relations dates back to the medieval times, their genuine cooperation is booming as late as the last decade. China, growing economic giant, tries to secure its run on raw materials, to find new markets for its products and to get new supporters for international negotiations. By contrast, African states search for investors who are willing to invest to their unsteady environment. Thus their cooperation can be profitable for both regions. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to adopt an attitude which will analyse the character and content of the China's role in Africa. |
