| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce pojednává o úloze Československé republiky při formování a fungování Stálého dvora mezinárodní spravedlnosti. V první části práce je krátce nastíněna historie této instituce, mechanismy její činnosti, její pravomoci a prameny práva, kterými se řídila. Po rozboru zapojení Československa do činnosti Stálého dvora mezinárodní spravedlnosti následuje podrobnější analýza dvou případů týkajících se zájmů Československa, kterými se Stálý dvůr zabýval. Prvním je vypracování posudku ve věci delimitace hranic mezi Československem a Polskem na území Javořiny z roku 1923 a druhým sporné řízení z roku 1933, které se týkalo navrácení majetku Královské uherské univerzity věd Petra Pázmányho v Budapešti. |

| Abstract: | The thesis deals with the role of Czechoslovakia in the forming and functioning of the Permanent Court of International Justice. The first part briefly reviews the history of this institution, its mechanisms, jurisdiction and the sources of law it followed. The next part of the thesis is focused on the Czechoslovak involvement in the Court's activities. Then, two cases that the Court dealt with are analysed in detail. The first one is the advisory opinion related to the delimitation of border between Czechoslovakia and Poland in the area of Javořina in 1923. The second case is the appeal from a judgement of the Hungaro/Czechoslovak Mixed Tribunal related to the property of the university in Budapest. |
