| Abstract: | Cílem práce je zjistit, jaká je struktura zaměstnanosti v České republice v roce 2008 a její vývoj od roku 1993 do roku 2008. A zda v zemi existuje diskriminace v odměňování mužů a žen. V úvodní kapitole je popsáno několik základních pojmů týkající se zaměstnanosti a jiných genderových pojmů. Dále jsou zde popsány typy sběru dat (šetření) a klasifikace, podle kterých se získaná data třídí. V druhé, analytické části, je hlavní pozornost zaměřena na zjištění struktury zaměstnanosti, jejího vývoje za posledních patnáct let, a vlivu, který může mít na platové rozdíly. V závěru je zhodnocena situace diskriminace za Českou republiku. |

| Abstract: | The goal of the work is to ascertain the structure of employment in the Czech Republic in 2008 and its evolution from 1993 to 2008. And whether in the country, there is discrimination in pay between men and women. The introductory chapter describes some basic concepts relating to employment and other gender concepts further describes the types of data collection (survey) and classification according to which sort the data obtained. In the second, analytical part, the focus is on finding employment structure, its development over the past fifteen years, and the effect it can have on wage differences.
