| Abstract: | Tato práce si klade za cíl analyzovat soudobé integrační tendence v rámci Evropské unie. Zkoumá úskalí rozšiřování členské základny nejen z hlediska ekonomického, ale i sociálního a kulturního. V další části se zaměřuje na prohlubování této integrace do nových, zejména pak politických sfér stávajících členských států a zkoumá mimo jiné i ochotu evropské veřejnosti ve smyslu jednotlivých členských zemí k dalšímu pokračování tohoto procesu. Práce si též klade otázku týkající se rovnoměrnosti integračního procesu, jaké výhody či rizika mají jednotlivé koncepty asymetrické integrace a zda jsou dlouhodobě udržitelné. |

| Abstract: | This thesis aims to analyze the contemporary tendencies of integration in the European union. It examines the problem of new members from economic, social and cultural point of view. In the next part it deals with deepening of integration into the new, especially political matters among the old member states and their willingness or unwillingness to continue in the process of integration. The last part is focused on the concepts of multi-speed Europe, what are the benefits and risks of asymetric integration |
