| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem sociálního zabezpečení ve Spojených státech amerických a v České republice. Práce je složena ze čtyř kapitol. Úvodní kapitola popisuje historii a právní vývoj sociálního zabezpečení v České republice, definuje základní pojmy a uvádí prameny práva. Druhá kapitola poskytuje charakteristiku systému sociálního zabezpečení ve Spojených státech amerických a nastiňuje základní body reformy zdravotnictví. Třetí kapitola je zaměřena na právní úpravu sociálního zabezpečení v České republice a popisuje také Mezinárodní smlouvě o sociálním zabezpečení mezi Spojenými státy americkými a Českou republikou. Poslední kapitola obsahuje srovnání jednotlivých oblastí obou států. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with social security in the United States of America and in the Czech Republic. The thesis consists of four chapters. Introductory charter describes the history and development of social security law in the Czech Republic, defines key terms and identifies the sources of law. The second chapter provides a description of the social security system in the U.S. and outlines key elements of health reform. The third chapter focuses on the social security legislation in the Czech Republic and also describes the International Treaty on Social Security between the U.S. and the Czech Republic. The last chapter contains a comparison of the various areas of both states. |
