| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce popisuje izraelsko-egyptské vztahy a jejich vývoj od vzniku Státu Izrael po současnost. První část práce se zabývá historickým vývojem území Palestiny a Egypta ještě před vznikem Izraele a dále zachycuje nejdůležitější momenty společné historie Egypta a Izraele a podstatné změny v jejich vzájemných vztazích po vzniku Státu Izrael. Práce také nabízí pohled na jednání, která vedla k uzavření mírové smlouvy mezi Izraelem a Egyptem, první takovéto smlouvy na Blízkém východě. Poslední část práce je věnována vývoji vztahů mezi oběma zeměmi od 80. let do současnosti a jejich rozvíjející se ekonomické spolupráci. |

| Abstract: | Bachelor thesis describes the Israeli-Egyptian relations and their development since the creation of State Israel to the present. The first part deals with the historical development of Palestine and Egypt before the emergence of Israel and captures the most important moments of the shared history of Egypt and Israel, and substantial changes in their relations after the establishment of Israel. The text also offers insight into the negotiations which led to the conclusion of the peace treaty between Israel and Egypt, the first such agreement in the Middle East. The last part is devoted to the development of relations between the two countries since the eighties to the present and their developing economic cooperation. |
