| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá diskriminací na trhu práce se zaměřením na genderové mzdové rozdíly. Vysvětluje rozdílné postavení mužů a žen ze sociologického hlediska, příčiny rozdílných mezd, efekt kompenzujících rozdílů a investice do lidského kapitálu. Představuje diskriminační modely: model s diskriminačními preferencemi, model diskriminujícího monopsonu, model statistické diskriminace a vytěsňovací model diskriminace. Praktická část je zaměřena na platovou diskriminaci založenou na statistických datech. Dále ukazuje názory a zkušenosti respondentů zjišťované prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření. Zmiňuje též možnosti odstraňování genderových nerovností, legislativu ČR a organizace zabývající se tímto tématem. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with discrimination in the labour market with a focus on gender wage differentials. It explains the differences between men and women from the sociological perspective, causes of different wages, the effect of compensating differences and investment in human capital. It presents discriminatory models: the model with discriminatory preferences, the discriminatory monopsony model, the model of statistical discrimination and the displacement model of discrimination. The practical part is focused on salary discrimination based on statistical data, as well as the views and experiences of the people interviewed by questionnaire survey. It mentions the possibility of elimination of gender inequalities, legislation of Czech Republic and organizations that are involved in this issue. |
