| Abstract: | Tato práce zkoumá zahraniční obchod Spojených států mezi lety 1995 a 2009. První kapitola obecně popisuje USA, se zaměřením na postavení jejich ekonomiky ve světě. Součástí této kapitoly je také vývoj v průběhu poslední ekonomické krize. Druhá kapitola detailně popisuje americkou ekonomiku v posledních 15 letech a ukazuje, že obchodní deficity jsou chronickým problémem americké ekonomiky. Obchodní politika Spojených států je námětem třetí kapitoly. Jsou v ní také vyjmenovány nejdůležitější obchodní dohody, které USA uzavřely s ostatními státy. Poslední kapitola analyzuje komoditní a teritoriální strukturu amerického zahraničního obchodu. Zjišťuje, že největší deficity mají USA v obchodu s Čínou a s palivy. Závěr rekapituluje předchozí kapitoly a vysvětluje, proč je velmi obtížné odhadovat budoucí vývoj. |

| Abstract: | This paper examines foreign trade of the economy of the United States between years 1995 and 2009. First chapter describes the USA in general and focuses on position of its economy in the world. Development during recent economic crisis is also included in this chapter. Second chapter details american economy in the last 15 years and indicates that trade deficits are a chronic disease of the US. economy. Trade policy of the United States is discussed in the third chapter. The most important trade agreements which the USA have made with other countries are listed as well. The last chapter analyses the commodity and teritorial structure of american foreign trade. It finds out that the worst situation for the USA is in trade with China and in commodities. Final summary recapitulates previous chapters and explains why it is very difficult to make predictions for the future. |
