| Abstract: | Cílem práce je poukázat na důležitost Německa v rámci Evropské unie. Práce se skládá ze tří kapitol. První část popisuje vývoj evropské integrace od 2. světové války po součastnost. V této části se snažím nastínit, jakou roli sehrálo Německo v integračním procesu. Druhá část poukazuje na ekonomickou důležitost Německa v rámci evropské ekonomiky. Fungování německé ekonomiky má stěžejní vliv na ekonomický chod celé Evropské unie. Poslední kapitola se zabývá otázkou, jak ovlivňuje SRN svým postojem současné dění v Evropské unii. Na příkladu krize v Řecku se snažím prezentovat zásadní vliv Německa v řešení aktuálních otázek v rámci EU. |

| Abstract: | The main goal of the thesis is to point out the importance of Germany in the role of European Union. The thesis consists of three chapters. The first one describes the development of European integration since second world war till nowadays. The object of the first chapter is to outline the role of the Germany integration position. The second part of the thesis is to point out the crucial importance of this country on European economics. The last chapter focuses on the influence of Germany's contemporary position on the European Union's decision-making. The cardinal position of Germany influence on the Greek financial crisis will be presented as the example. |
