| Abstract: | Tato práce je zaměřena na mezinárodní obchod se sírou a kyselinou sírovou. Hlavním záměrem této práce je ukázat, jak důležité jsou tyto chemikálie téměř ve všech odvětvích průmyslu a pokusit se o analýzu trhu s těmito komoditami. Vyrobené, spotřebované a obchodované objemy jsou značné a ovlivňují mezinárodní obchod jako celek. První a druhá část pojednává o výskytu síry, výrobě kyseliny sírové a jejich využití. Čtvrtá část je zaměřena na jejich dlouhou historii a konečně pátá a šestá kapitola popisují samotný mezinárodní obchod. Jsou zde ukázáni hlavní výrobci, spotřebitelé a proudy obchodních toků. Poslední kapitola se snaží vysvětlit neobvyklý vzestup cen síry a kyseliny sírové v letech 2006 až 2008 a také najít důvody tohoto výkyvu. |

| Abstract: | The thesis is aimed at the international trade in sulphur and sulphuric acid. The main contribution of this thesis is to show how important in almost all industrial fields these chemicals are and to analyze the current situation on the market. The produced, consumed and traded amount of these commodities is significant and influances the international trade as a whole. The first and second parts contain general information about these chemicals, occurance of sulphur, production of sulphuric acid and their usage. The fourth part is focused on the long history and finally the fifth part describes the international trade in these chemicals. There are shown the main producers, consumers and trade flows. In the last chapter is explained the unusual price increase from 2006 till 2008 and try to find the reasons why this situation occured. |
