| Abstract: | Global governance se nachází na historickém rozcestí. Systém reflektující rozložení sil ve světě z první poloviny 20. století zůstal do velké míry nezměněn a ukazuje se jako značně neaktuální. Nedostatečné reflektování změn, zejména zapojení rozvojových zemí do dění ve světě způsobuje nedůvěryhodnost global governance. Cílem této práce je tedy poukázat na tyto změny, popsat aktéry global governance a analyzovat možné směry vývoje do budoucnosti. Práce se z důvodu velmi široké problematiky omezuje zejména na ekonomickou dimenzi global governance. Ukazuje, proč by základními kameny nové global governance měly být Mezinárodní měnový fond, skupina G20 a Valné shromáždění OSN a poukazuje na změny, které jsou potřebné k tomu, aby co nejvíce reflektovaly současnou podobu světa a zvýšily tak legitimitu, efektivitu a akceschopnost zmíněných institucí |

| Abstract: | Global governance finds itself at the crossroads. Current system is, to some extend, still reflecting world from the first half of the 20th century. Therefore it has not reflected all the changes and is struggling to bring itself up-to-date. Namely, the significant changes in developing world and rise of developing economies seem to be the cause of global governance that is ineffective and out of date. Aim of this paper is therefore to point out necessary changes, focus on main actors of global governance and analyze possible directions that global governance can take in the near future. This paper will mainly focus on economic dimension of global governance. It will show why the new architecture should be build around G20, International Monetary Fund and UN and it will underline changes that are necessary in order to reflect current world situation and improve its legitimacy, effectiveness and power. |
