Analysis of the international trade between the Czech Republic and the chosen EFTA countries

Bakalárska práca "Analýza vývoja zahraničného obchodu Českej republiky s vybranými štátmi EZVO" sa zaoberá analýzou zahraničného obchodu Českej republiky a vývojom za roky 2000 až 2009 vo vzťahu k vybraným štátom Európskeho združenia voľného obchodu (EZVO). Zvláštny dôraz je kladený na Švajčiarsko a Nórsko, ktoré sú podľa autora spomedzi členských štátov najvýznamnejšie a tvoria významnú časť jeho obchodu a ekonomickej akti-vity.

In my bachelor thesis I am trying to analyze the development of the international trade between the Czech Republic and the chosen EFTA countries. There have been some important changes since the year 2004. The first was the fact that the Czech Republic became a legal member of the European Union. The second was the signature of EEA between 3 of 4 member states of EFTA. This thesis describes how these changes influenced the international trade. The main analyzed issue is the percentage change of the commodity structure and the analysis of the whole imports, exports and trade balance. The author of this bachelor thesis paid special attention to the leading EFTA member states, to Switzerland and to Norway where the most important corporations in this area reside.
