| Abstract: | Tato práce pojednává o řešení současného konfliktu v jednom z nejchudších a nejnestabilnějších států světa, v Afghánistánu. Jsou zde připomenuty historické souvislosti tohoto konfliktu probíhajícího v zemi od roku 2001 a determinanty utvářející charakter afghánské společnosti. Dále se práce zabývá vývojem konfliktu samotného a postkonfliktní rekonstrukcí jako nástrojem jeho řešení. Do postkonfliktní rekonstrukce v Afghánistánu se zapojuje mnoho vnitřních i vnějších aktérů a jedním takovým vnějším aktérem v rámci mezinárodního společenství je Česká republika, jejíž přínos je podrobněji rozebrán v případové studii této práce. |

| Abstract: | This thesis refers to the solution to the ongoing conflict in one of the poorest and most unstable states in the world -- in Afghanistan. Historical aspects of this conflict lasting since 2001 are analysed as well as factors determining the character of the Afghan society. Further, this thesis deals with the development of the conflict and with the post-conflict reconstruction, which will contribute considerably to its solution. There are lots of internal and external participants in the post-conflict reconstruction. One of them is the Czech Republic operating as a member of the international community. The Czech contribution is thoroughly described in the case study, which forms the last chapter of this thesis. |
