| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá postavením Spojených států vůči organizaci NAFTA, důvody, které USA vedly k založení integrace, a vztahy USA uvnitř organizace se zaměřením na Mexiko. Dále práce zkoumá vývoj amerického přístupu za období fungování organizace, stejně jako jeho změnu po nástupu nové administrativy. Rozebrány jsou i bezpečnostní rizika a další faktory bránící v rámci mexicko-amerických vztahů dalšímu rozvoji integrace. |

Furthermore, the Thesis focuses on American attitude towards NAFTA and its changes, mainly under the new administration. Security riska and other issues restraining further development of the organisation. |
