| Abstract: | Práce je rozdělená do dvou základních kapitol. První se zabývá trendem regionalismu a jeho současnými projevy ve světové ekonomice. Podává informace o podstatě regionalismu a jeho vývoji, členění regionálních dohod dle různých hledisek, členění regionálních integračních forem, vztahu regionalismu a multilateralismu a motivech zemí ke vstupu do regionálních integrací. Zároveň poskytuje informace o nových trendech regionalismu na poli světové ekonomiky. Druhá část práce analyzuje konkrétní dopady vytvoření integrace NAFTA na členské ekonomiky, přičemž aplikuje teorii o vytvoření regionální integrace a potvrzuje nebo vyvrací předpokládané efekty. Okrajově se zabývá i myšlenkou rozšíření integrace na celý americký kontinent v podobě Celoamerické zóny volného obchodu FTAA. |

| Abstract: | Thesis is divided in two main chapters. The first one focuses on the theory of regionalism in the world economy, its new trends or in other words new types of regional trade agreements. This chapter also provides information about the development of regionalism, different types of regional trade agreements, the relation between regionalism and multilateralism and summarize incentives of a country to enter regional integration. The second part of the thesis analyses direct impacts of the creation of NAFTA on member countries, whereas is based on the theoretical part. Marginally focuses on the idea of creation of the Free Trade Area of the Americas. |
