| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá financováním kultury z veřejných zdrojů, kterou reprezentuje oblast divadla. Na příkladě Národního divadla Praha je vysvětlen vztah státu k této kulturní instituci a na vybraných ukazatelích je hodnocena za určité období činnost této instituce, která každoročně získává ze strany státu prostřednictvím Ministerstva kultury České republiky značnou část veřejných prostředků. |

| Abstract: | This paper describes the financing of culture using public resources, which is represented by theater. Prague National Theater serves as a practical example to explain the relationship between the state and this cultural institution. A number of indicators evaluate the activities of this institution, which receives a large proportion of public resources through the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic every year. |
