| Abstract: | Práce pojednává o kolumbijském prezidentu Álvaro Uribem, který se ujal úřadu v roce 2002. Hlavním cílem práce je zhodnotit kroky prezidenta Uribeho a nastínit možná další opatření. Práce shrnuje příčiny konfliktu, vyvozené na základě historicko-logické metody z historie Kolumbie, popisuje a komparuje jednotlivé aktéry konfliktu, jako jsou hlavně levicové guerilly FARC A ELN a pravicová organizace AUC, a zabývá se i vlivem kokainu na konflikt v Kolumbii. Stěžejní je popis opatření, která prezident Uribe ve svém volebním období přijal a popis spolupráce s USA, které mají velký zájem na vyřešení konfliktu. Celkově se Uribemu podařilo konflikt utlumit a situaci s některými aktéry do jisté míry vyřešit, přesto jeho opatření ještě postrádala určitou komplexnost. |

| Abstract: | This work deals with the colombian president Álvaro Uribe who took his office 2002. The main objective is to assess the proceedings of Uribe and to outline some other steps that could be made. The work summarizes the reasons of the conflict deduced from history on the basis of historic-logical method, describes and compares the actors of the conflict, above all the leftist guerillas FARC and ELN and the rightist organisation AUC. Also deals with the influence of the cocaine. The fundamental part is the describtion of the proceedings made by Uribe in his electoral term and the description of the cooperation with the USA which attepts to solve this problem. All aroud Uribe succeded in allaying the conflict and also the situation with some actors was almou solved. Nonetheless the step sof Uribe lack the complexity. |
