| Abstract: | Vláda Margaret Thatcherové představuje jedno z nejdůležitějších období britských dějin 20. století. Její odkaz má dodnes vliv na život ve Velké Británii, jež se za vlády Thatcherové proměnila, s mírnou nadsázkou řečeno, k nepoznání. Analýza její vlády a jejích politických zásad, které vešly ve známost jako thatcherismus, znamenaly radikální odklon od politického konsenzu, který přetrvával od konce druhé světové války. Představovaly skutečnou revoluci v chápání postavení a řízení státu a jeho vztahu vůči občanské společnosti. Ve své práci se soustředím především na analýzu ekonomických aspektů thatcherismu, tedy hospodářské a měnové politiky, privatizace a jejich důsledky a vliv na Británii v post-thatcherovské éře. |

| Abstract: | Era of Margaret Thatcher's government is one of the most important periods of the 20th century British history. Its legacy represents a huge influence which fundamentally changed, with a small exaggeration, Great Britain. The analysis of her government and her political principles which became known as thatcherism represents radical deviation from post-war political and economic consensus. They were equivalent to the real revolution in approach to the relationship between the state, the society and the economy. This thesis concentrates especially on economical aspects of thatcherism, economic and monetary policy and their consequences and influence on Great Britain during 1980s and afterwards. |
