| Abstract: | Práca sa zaoberá štrukturovanými investičnými inštrumentami MBS a CDO. V prvej kapitole sa venuje súčasným trendom na kapitálových trhoch s akcentom na trend sekuritizácie a swap úverového zlyhania. Ďalej nasleduje charakteristika a zhodnotenie vybraných investičných inštrumentov s ohľadom na možnosti a riziká s nimi spojené. V poslednej kapitole sa práca zaoberá vplyvom jednotlivých inštrumentov na vznik finančnej krízy a analyzuje možnosti regulácie a postavenie ratingových agentúr. |

| Abstract: | This paper is dedicated to structured financial instruments MBS and CDO. First chapter deals with present-day trends on capital markets with the focus on the securitization trend and credit default swap. Characteristics and evaluation of chosen investment instruments follows, along with the focus on the possibilities and risks connected with them. The last chapter of the work deals with the impact of constituent instruments on the onset of economic crisis and analyzes the possibilities of regulation and the status of rating agencies. |
