| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce si staví za cíl seznámit čtenáře s vývojářským nástrojem Google Web Toolkit a porovnat jeho výhody a nevýhody v kontextu dnešních nástrojů na tvorbu Rich Internet Applications. Práce je cílena především pro vývojáře. Díky této práci si bude moci čtenář vytvořit ucelenou představu o využití tohoto nástroje, jeho použití, jeho silných a slabých stránkách, dozví se o procesu práce s GWT a o jeho jednotlivých částech a podá srovnání s technologiemi konkurenčních firem. První část seznámí čtenáře s GWT obecně, druhá nabídne náhled na vývojový proces webových aplikací pomocí tohoto nástroje, třetí předvede praktickou ukázku aplikace. Nakonec práce zhodnotí nástroj Google Web Toolkit celkově. |

| Abstract: | This thesis intents to familiarize the reader with the developer tool Google Web Toolkit. It aims to compare its advantages and disadvantages in the context of today's tools for creating Rich Internet Applications. The work is targeted primarily for developers. With this work the reader will be able to develop a comprehensive idea of using this tool, its strengths and weaknesses, learn about the process of working with GWT and its individual parts and give a comparison with technologies of competing producers. The first part introduces the reader to GWT in general, the second part offers insight into the development process of web applications using this tool and the third part demonstrates a preview of practical application. Finally, the work evaluates the Google Web Toolkit as a whole. |
