| Abstract: | Cílem bakalářské práce je provést analýzu bezpečnostních prvků operačního systému Windows 7 a vypracovat přehled doporučených nastavení pro jeho zabezpečení v prostředí domény Windows Server 2008 R2. Základním materiálem pro tuto práci jsou obecná bezpečnostní doporučení a osvědčené postupy. Pro praktické ověření doporučených nastavení jsem použil dva počítače, jeden v roli primárního doménového řadiče a druhý v roli klienta připojeného do domény. Obsah práce lze použít jako souhrnný informační zdroj bezpečnostních komponent operačního systému Windows 7 a také jako průvodce jeho zabezpečením. V první části práce se zabývám otázkou obecné bezpečnosti počítačů a počítačových sítí, rozčleněním bezpečnostních hrozeb a ochranou proti nim. Dále zde vymezuji prostředí, pro které jsou uvedená doporučení a nastavení určena. Druhá část je analýzou bezpečnostních komponent operačního systému Windows 7. Třetí část se zabývá instalací, zálohováním a aktualizováním operačního systému. Ve čtvrté části, na základě analýzy bezpečnostních komponent, sestavuji a testuji konkrétní bezpečnostní politiky. |

| Abstract: | The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to analyze security components of operating system Windows 7 and to make a security configuration checklist. The primary information source of this thesis consists of a common security recommendations and best practices. Configuration checklist is tested on two computers, one in primary domain controller role and second is Windows 7 computer joined into its domain. This thesis can be used as a security components overview and also as a step-by-step guide to securing Windows 7 based operating systems. The first part focuses on computer and computer networks security issues, categorization of security threats and possible ways to secure them. It also determines scope which this thesis covers. The second part analyses security components of Windows 7. The third part covers installation, backing up and updating. Fourth part contains a group policy based on analysis which is discussed in the third part. |
