| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou přírodních katastrof a krytí jejich následků komerčním pojištěním. Nejprve je zmíněn obecný vývoj přírodních katastrof ve světě a následné zhodnocení posledních dvou let z hlediska katastrofických událostí a jejich dopadu na pojistný trh. Poté se práce zaměřuje na situaci v ČR z pohledu přírodních katastrof. Jedná se především o povodně, zejména z let 1997 a 2002. Dále jsou zmíněny vichřice a ostatní přírodní živly. V poslední části jsou zanalyzovány základní pojistné produkty vybrané pojišťovny kryjící následky způsobené přírodními událostmi. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of natural catastrophes and coverage of their consequences by commercial insurance. At first, the general development of natural disasters in the world and the subsequent evalution of past two years in terms of catastrophic events and their impact on the insurance market. Then the situation in the Czech republic in terms of natural catastrophes is mentioned. These are mainly floods, especially from the years 1997 and 2002. Furthermore, storms and the other natural hazards are mentioned. In the last section the basic insurance products of selected insurer covering consequences caused by natural events are analyzed. |
