| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá otestováním míry naplnění principu solidarity Evropské unie. Testování je provedeno na příkladu dopadu strukturální pomoci EU v rámci České republiky na vysokoškolské studenty. Snahou práce je potvrzení či vyvrácení hypotézy, že rozdělování finanční pomoci z fondů Evropské unie v České republice je v souladu s principem solidarity. Předpokladem je, že v souladu s principem solidarity by tato pomoc měla být rozdělována podle nabídky terciárního vzdělávání jednotlivých NUTS II regionů. Za naplnění principu solidarity je považováno, pokud jsou nejvyšší finanční částky z fondů EU poskytovány do regionů s nejmenší možností vysokoškolského vzdělávání. První polovina této práce je věnována otestování principu solidarity EU za předpokladu imobility studentů. Druhá část práce uvolňuje předpoklad imobility studentů. Snaží se zjistit, jaký počet studentů vyjíždí za studiem do jiných NUTS II regionů a na kolik toto zjištění může ovlivnit princip solidarity uskutečňovaný v České republice. |

| Abstract: | This work examines the effects of implememtation of solidarity principle of the European Union. The hypthesis is tested on the example of evaluation of the impact of the Structural Fonds in the Czech Republic. The aim of this work is to confirm or reject the hypothesis that the division of financial aid coming from structural funds is consistent with solidarity principle. The thesis works with the presumption that the financial aid coming from structural funds is devided according to the solidarity principle and in correspondence with provision of tertiary education in individual NUTS regions. The solidarity principle is based on a simple rule that the highest amounts of money flow to the regions that provide the lowest possibilities for university education. The first part of this work concentrates on confirmation of solidarity principle while the students remain immobile. The other part desist from the imobility of students. It is trying to identify how many students commute to other NUTS II regions and to what extent it can this influence solidarity principle implemented in the Czech Republic. |
