| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je uvést čtenáře do problematiky BI, popsat vývoj a aktuální situaci na trhu BI včetně představení několika vybraných dodavatelů a jejich produktů a konečně i pokusit se popsat aktuálně působící i budoucí trendy na trhu. Práce je členěná na teoretickou část, kde jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy business intelligence. Dále následuje analýza trhu. Pro potřeby analýzy jsem trh rozdělil na tři segmenty -- segment BI platforem, segment databázových platforem a segment nástrojů datové integrace. Po analýze trhu následuje představení několika trendů na trhu business intelligence a závěrečné shrnutí. |

| Abstract: | Aim of this bachelors thesis is to give a brief introduction to business intelligence problem domain, describe recent development and actual situation on the market including introduction of several chosen vendors and their products and finally to try to describe actual trends on the BI market. The thesis is divided to theoretical part, where I explain basic concepts of business intelligence. Next chapter includes the market analysis. For the need of the analysis was market split to three segments -- segment of BI platforms, database platform segment and data integration tools segment. After market analysis there're presented several market trends and a final summary. |
