| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce bylo zodpovědět otázku vhodného budoucího využití Masarykova nádraží v Praze z různých aspektů. Teoretická část práce se zabývá historií železniční dopravy v Praze i samotného nádraží při uvedení důležitých společenských souvislostí. Dále je vysvětlen princip integrovaných dopravních systémů a začleňování železnice do jejich sítě jako páteřní dopravy a vše doplňují požadavky na moderní příměstskou kolejovou dopravu.Tyto poznatky více rozvádí konkrétní příklad Pražské integrované dopravy a postupné zavádění a propagace železničních spojů v její síti. V úvodu analytické části je stručně nastíněna kausa budoucnosti Masarykova nádraží a poté je tato otázka hodnocena prostřednictvím vybraných disciplín. Těmi jsou vybrané metody dopravy a city logistiky, řešení městského urbanismu a pohled na nádraží z hlediska uměleckohistorického a technického významu. |

| Abstract: | The main objective of this thesis is to answer the question of the suitable future use of Masaryk Railway Station in Prague from many aspects. The theoretical part of thesis is dealing with the history of railways in Prague and the Station. Then it is explained the principle of the integrated transport systems and the inclusion of the railways as the spinal transport for suburban transport. In the analytical part, there is briefly introduced the cause of the Station future and then this question is evaluated by three disciplines. These are methods of city logistics, urban solutions and the significance of the Station from the cultural point of view. |
