| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá působností orgánů územní samosprávy v oblasti sociálních služeb. Na ty je zde pohlíženo nejenom přes jejich legislativní úpravu, ale i z pohledu jejich geneze a financování. Pro lepší prezentaci je výkon správy v oblasti sociálních služeb demonstrován na příkladech města Sokolov a Karlovarského kraje. Hlavním zdrojem informací byla analýza dostupné literatury, včetně právních předpisů, statistické ročenky a volně přístupné materiály města Sokolov a Karlovarského kraje. |

The main sources of information was the analysis of relevant literature, legal regulations, statistical yearbooks and free materials of the town Sokolov and Karlovarsky's district. |
