| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na oblast teorie efektivních trhů a vybraných anomálií narušujících efektivnost kapitálových trhů. První část se zabývá teorií efektivních trhů, obsahem druhé a třetí části je pak testování pondělního a lednového efektu na vybraných akciových trzích. Cílem práce je popsat teorii efektivních trhů, otestovat pondělní efekt na vybraných akciových indexech a lednový efekt na vzorku vybraných akcií a zvoleném indexu pražské burzy. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis is focused on the efficient market hypothesis and selected anomalies on capital markets. The first part deals with the efficient market hypothesis, the second and the third part contains testing of the monday effect and the january effect on selected stock markets. The goal of my thesis is to describe the efficient market hypothesis, test the monday effect on selected stock indexes and the january effect on selected stocks and index of Prague stock exchange. |
