| Abstract: | Práce přibližuje čtenáři německou kulturu se zaměřením na kulturu obchodního jednání. Poskytuje rady, jak být v komunikaci s Němci úspěšnými a čeho se vyvarovat. V práci jsou porovnávány autorovy osobní zkušenosti získané pobytem v Německu se zkušenostmi autorů knih o mezikulturní komunikaci a s výsledky mezikulturních výzkumů. K analýze německé kultury je využito kulturních dimenzí definovaných Geertem Hofstedem, Fonsem Trompenaarsem a Globe Study. |

| Abstract: | The thesis describes German culture, especially the culture of business negotiation. It provides the reader with tips how to be successful when negotiating with Germans. Author's personal experience gained during long-term stay in Germany are compared with experience of renowned authors of books about intercultural communication and with results of their research. Culture dimensions of Geert Hofstede, Fons Trompenaars and from Globe study are used for the analysis of German culture in the thesis. |
