| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá systémem podpory rozvoje měst České republiky z fondů Evropské unie v programovacím období 2007-2013. Nejprve se věnuje stručné charakteristice kohezní politiky EU a poté popisuje vývoj její urbánní dimenze s důrazem na období po roce 2000. Stěžejní částí práce je analýza strategických dokumentů ČR k provádění evropské politiky soudržnosti a dále konkrétních programů podpory s vazbou na rozvoj měst, tj. regionálních operačních programů a Integrovaného operačního programu. Na závěr práce je uvedena případová studie města Plzně, jako konkrétní příklad implementace analyzovaných programů podpory rozvoje měst. |

| Abstract: | This Diploma thesis deals with the support system for the Czech urban areas development, available in the EU Funds in the 2007-2013 programming period. First, the work briefly discusses the characteristics of the EU Cohesion Policy, and then describes the development of its urban dimension emphasizing the period after 2000. The main objective of this thesis is to analyze Czech strategic documents for the implementation of the EU Cohesion Policy and specific programmes linked to urban development, i.e. the Regional Operational Programmes and the Integrated Operational Programme. The final part includes the case study of Pilsen city, as a concrete example of the analyzed programmes implementation. |
