| Abstract: | Práce monitoruje a porovnává postoje Francie a Velké Británie k Společné zahraniční a bezpečnostní politice Evropské unie v období od konce druhé světové války po současnost. Hlavními kritérii pro komparaci jsou zejména přístup k NATO a současně s tím i k vlivu USA na evropskou obranu, postoj obou aktérů k vytváření autonomních bezpečnostních a vojenských struktur v rámci EU a jejich ochota vzdát se státní suverenity v takto citlivých otázkách. |

| Abstract: | This paper monitors and compares French and British attitude to the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union from the end of the second world war up to the present time. The main elements of comparison are approach to NATO and concurrently to US influence on the european defence, attitude of both France and Great Britain to formation of autonomous security and military structures within EU and their willingness to give up state sovereignty in such a touchy topics. |
