| Abstract: | Tato práce pojednává o problémech při vyhledávání informací na internetu, se kte-rými se může uživatel běžně setkat. Jejím cílem je osvětlit čtenáři různé součásti vyhledá-vání, jako jsou historie, další možnosti vyhledávání, využití operátorů při tvorbě dotazu nebo samotné problémy při vyhledávání a to především z pohledu běžného uživatele. Dále pak zjistit, jak běžný uživatel internetu ve skutečnosti vyhledává a určit nejčastější problé-my, se kterými se setkává První část popisuje základní pojmy a historická fakta související se samotným vy-hledáváním na internetu. Další kapitola obsahuje popis některých internetových vyhledá-vačů, jejich služeb a jejich nápovědy určené pro zlepšení schopnosti uživatelů vyhledávat. Dále práce obsahuje popis různých možností vyhledávání, jako je vyhledávání v mapách, obrázcích, knihách nebo videích. Další kapitoly pojednávají o využitelných operátorech a o samotných problémech při vyhledávání z pohledu běžného uživatele. Poté již následuje vyhodnocení dotazníkového průzkumu, díky kterému bylo možné porovnat popisované problémy s těmi zjištěnými a v závěru navrhnout doporučení plynoucí právě z vyhodnocených dotazníků. |

| Abstract: | This thesis is about problems concerning searching information on the internet with which ordinary users can come together. The goal is to explain to readers different parts of searching like history, other choices of searching, making queries using operators or the problems with searching itself especially from the view of ordinary user. The aim is also to find out how in fact ordinary user searches and to determine the most common problems that he faces. First part describes basic concepts and historical facts concerning searching on the internet itself. Following chapter contains description of chosen search engines, their ser-vices and help for improving searching skills of the users. Furthermore the thesis includes description of different possibilities of searching like searching in maps, pictures, books and videos. Following chapters deal with usable operators and problems with the searching itself from the view of ordinary user. After that follows an evaluation of the questionnaire survey thanks to which it was possible to compare described problems with real ones and to propose recommendations from this survey in the conclusion. |
