| Abstract: | Tématem práce jsou arabské země, zejména pak ty obchodující s ropou. Cílem práce je definovat, které arabské země vyvážejí ropu a jak se to odráží v jejich ekonomické situaci. První část práce se zabývá vymezením pojmu arabské státy z pohledu historického. Definuje státy geograficky, kulturně a nábožensky. Na základě studia odborné literatury se soustřeďuje na důležité historické události, na základě kterých se arabské země vyvinuly až do současné podoby národních arabských států. Práce si všímá i tendencí o vytvoření ekonomicko-politických aliancí. Zkoumá rozmístění ropných zdrojů a také produkci. Druhá část se na základě analýzy a srovnávání dostupných dat (Skupina Světové banky...) zabývá důležitými indikátory ekonomik jednotlivých států. Na mysli máme indikátory jako HDP, nezaměstnanost, přímé zahraniční investice a přebytek běžného účtu platební bilance. Ten je pro tuto práci klíčový. Nejlépe totiž charakterizuje ekonomiky arabských zemí vyvážejících ropu a upozorňuje na minimální diverzifikaci hospodářství. |

| Abstract: | This thesis describes which Arab countries export oil and how the oil industry influences their economies. The first part deals with the definition of the concept of Arab states in a historical aspect. It defines the states geographically, culturally and religiously. Based on the study of literature, it focuses on the important historical events in this region. The thesis also mentions their tendency to create economic and political alliances. It examines the distribution of oil resources and its production. The second part concentrates on the important economic indicators such as GDP, unemployment, foreign direct investment and current account surplus in the balance of payments. The current account surplus is crucial for this thesis. It is characteristic for the economies of Arab oil-exporting countries and highlights the minimal diversification of these economies. |
