| Abstract: | Nepál je atraktivní destinací cestovního ruchu v jižní Asii, jejíž počet přijíždějících zahraničních turistů se téměř každý rok zvyšuje. Ačkoliv země čelí mnoha problémům rozvojových zemí, turismus přestavuje jedno z nejrychleji se rozvíjejících odvětví nepálské ekonomiky. Tato práce má za cíl popsat vývoj a současnou situaci v oblasti příjezdového cestovního ruchu, zhodnotit předpoklady destinace pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu a sestavit analýzu destinace, která shrnuje silné a slabé stránky této země a analyzuje příležitosti a rizika rozvoje cestovního ruchu v destinaci. |

| Abstract: | Nepal is an attractive tourist destination of South Asia, whose number of international tourists arrivals is rising almost every year. Although the country has to face many problems similar to other developing countries, the tourism industry presents one of the fastest developing sectors of Nepalese economy. The aim of this thesis is to describe the development and current situation of incoming tourism, evaluate preconditions of the destination for the development of tourism and make up SWOT analysis, which summarizes strengths and weaknesses of the country and analyses opportunities and threats of the development of tourism in the destination. |
